This podcast is a conversation between 2 long-time friends, both at different stages of deconstructed faith, one a Gen X and one a Millienial, about their Perspectives - which are constantly evolving - about any topic under the sun!

Meet Laura & Jessi
Laura (on the left here...no pun intended!) and Jessi (on the right, but only in terms of this picture!) are two very long-time friends who have spent countless hours over the years having deep conversations, about every topic imaginable, almost always over cups of coffee. (Since we've broaden our horizons, our drinks of choice have expanded as well.)
For years, while having these conversations, we would joke and say, "We should have our own podcast!", so we finally decided to just do it.
Our discussion topics have always been varied, and we each have our own Perspective - which is what we hope to bring to this show.
While our backgrounds and experiences are very similar, our personalities are fundamentally opposite, and we are in different life seasons in terms of marriage, family, and career. Each of these factors also plays a big role in the perspectives we hold, and how those perspective have, and continue to, evolve.

We are down to only days before the election, and the ladies just felt that it was a topic that needed to be covered. While Laura loves politics (obviously, since it is her career of choice), and Jess hates politics...they both agree that it is a topic that can't - and shouldn't - be avoided. They both have more thoughts on things than could possibly be contained in one episode - or really, in any number of episodes - but they decided to try to do their best to articulate some of their thoughts into two episodes, that will be posted together. While both Laura and Jessi have moved away from this space personally, they still feel it represents a significant sub cultural that is influential in many ways, and worth a conversation.
